The Lab › Modal Sundial

Drag the sun, click any stop, or use the arrow keys (Home and End jump to Lydian and Locrian). Keep going past Locrian or Lydian, by arrow key or by clicking either dotted end, to travel the spiral onto a new tonic. Each move plays the scale up and down over the drone, then the note that changed, alone. Click a note on the staff to hear it by itself. The drone is off until you turn it on, and fades after a minute of quiet.
